Next big ”chill out” album release on Toptrax Germany and Next-Essence Records comes from highly gifted British artist Kalabi. He has been working on his own dub based chill out with ethnic flavours for the past four years, and his output can be found on different compilations like the "Elysian Vibes 3" compilation from One World Music, the "Cafe Zen" compilation from The Hit Music Company, the "Chasing The Third" compilation from Mighty Fat Records, the "Young Style Grooves" compilation for l’Oreal, the "Pescadores Island — Formosa del Mar" compilation from Hi-Note and many other branded compilations. Finally, his debut album takes the audience on a wonderful journey of sounds and melodies. The tracks are very groovy, deep, but organic and even hypnotizing, influenced by trip hop, funk, jazz and even oriental sounds. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a day on the beach, your favourite chill out lounge or just a relaxing afternoon, anywhere. The album also features a special bonus remix on ”47 Burning Violins" by James Bright, who has already appeared as a solo artist and with Steve Miller in the chill out duo Lux.
